Help Make Poverty History!!!

This is so important for everyone to help put this issue on the forefront of the international stage. Politics, partisanship, religious battles, celebrity...this is what we see on a daily basis and when it all comes down to it, it is all meaningless crap...there are real issues out there that need to be addressed and we need to push all the other power-mongering, front page celebrity issues out of the way and come together and work to solve the real issues - our leaders are not doing it and we need to let them know how important we all feel it is.

Every 3 seconds a child dies in Africa of disease and starvation related to extreme poverty. Every 3 seconds! That is unacceptable. There is no reason it should still be so. When most western countries' populations suffer from obesity, etc. and can get the drugs over the counter that could save these children and give them a future...we need to do something and we need to do something NOW.

They don't need your money, they need your voice.

Let the G8 countries know...sign the petition at live8live.com. And while your at it, let your local leaders know...send letters or postcards to your congressman or MP, to your president or prime minister, donate to your local organizations, shelters or food banks.
