I'm doing it...I am finally getting my ass in gear and getting healthy. I made the mistake of weighing myself the other day and I am officially the heaviest I have ever been...BOO to that!
I used to be relatively thin (i.e. a size 5-6) but I think my natural weight probably puts me at a size 8-10. Over the past few years though I have had a number of health issues (some chronic joint pain, etc.) which basically means that I'm not as active as I used to be but instead of adjusting my habits to compensate for that, I just continued to eat the same way. Apparently, BIG MISTAKE. And I've finally reached the breaking point - literally!
So that's it...with my friends list as my witnesses...I am losing weight and getting healthy. I have put together a plan that will (hopefully) work but that won't be too drastic. There is this wonderful site, calorie-count.com, which is kind of like Weight Watchers but without the massive fees which has helped me figure out things :) And so, as part of my plan - I will be keeping track of my progress, most likely through periodic updates here which you are all free to ignore...lol
