So there I was minding my own business watching old episodes of The Cosby Show on TV. Hadn't watched it in ages and I was thoroughly enjoying wallowing in the nostalgia.

So on the episode I just watched - one that revolved around Vanessa thinking that her boyfriend Roy was breaking up with her (when he really wasn't) - there's a scene at the end where we finally meet Roy. I'm watching the scene realizing that I'm sure I've seen that actor somewhere before and then it hit me...

It was J. August Richards!!! Gunn himself was going out with Vanessa Huxtable! He would've been 14 or 15...so cute!

I looked it up to make sure I wasn't hallucinating..adn sure enough, it was him. It was his first tv role ever in 1988.

So there you go - random and useless Whedonverse actor knowledge!
